Warranty and Repair Information
We understand that every 3M™ Littmann® Stethoscope is an investment that should be protected. For your peace of mind, all 3M™ Littmann® Stethoscopes, from Cardiology to Classic, come with their specific warranty periods (see tabs below for your model). The day of your purchase will establish the warranty start date, verifiable by your original purchase receipt.
If a material or manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period, we will repair your 3M™ Littmann® Stethoscope free of charge, except in cases of obvious abuse or accidental damage.
These exceptions include subjecting the stethoscope to:
• Immersion in liquids
• Sterilisation processes
• Drops or impact that would damage the chestpiece
• Improper handling and storage that would damage stethoscope parts.
Please refer to your 3M™ Littmann® Stethoscope owner’s manual for a full list of limitations and exclusions to your warranty coverage.
Replacing your stethoscope parts is easy
In the event where your stethoscope warranty has expired or if your stethoscope is damaged, affordable replacement parts and accessories can be easily purchased through our authorised online and offline distributors.

Q: Does my warranty cover missing or stolen stethoscopes?
A: The warranty does not cover missing or stolen stethoscopes. If you decide to purchase a replacement, we suggest finding an authorised distributor that offers engraving or name tags. See a list of our authorised distributors here.

Q: Will my warranty be voided if I engrave my stethoscope?
A: Engraving on your stethoscope does not void the warranty.

Q: I bought my stethoscope in the U.S., is the warranty still valid in Australia?
A: Yes, the warranty is still valid. Please contact us directly for assistance and repairs in Australia.
If a material or manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period, we will repair your Littmann stethoscope or send user replaceable parts to you free of charge, except in cases of obvious abuse or accidental damage. For user replaceable parts that fail inside the warranty period, such as diaphragm or ear tips, please contact us here with your stethoscope serial number, date of purchase and user replaceable parts failure details.
If you would like your Littmann stethoscope serviced, either in or out of warranty, please download the form and follow the instructions to return your Littmann Stethoscope to our service centre. Please clean and decontaminate your stethoscope and send via traceable means. The safe delivery of your stethoscope is your responsibility until it is received at our facility.
Has the warranty expired? No problem. We offer affordable Littmann stethoscope repairs that include replacing the tubing, eartubes, diaphragm, rim, nonchill sleeves and eartips.
